Antonio Iturrioz was born in Cuba and came to this country when he was very young. He played his first concert when he was nine years old. At the age of 15 he made his orchestral debut playing Liszt's first piano concerto. He performs throughout the United States and played in Europe in 1997. The Cuban pianist Jorge Bolet once said that Mr. Iturrioz was "born to play the piano."
